Terms of Service
Last updated: 5/30/2026
1. Service Description
TAYDEX is a decentralized prediction exchange running on the Base network and settled in USDC. Users buy "YES" / "NO" shares on real-world events that are open or already resolved. All transactions are signed by the user's wallet and executed on-chain.
2. Eligibility
To use the service you must be 18 years old or above the legal age in your country, and reside in a jurisdiction where prediction markets are legal. You must not use TAYDEX from a restricted jurisdiction.
3. User Responsibility
The security of your wallet keys, session and funds is entirely your own responsibility. We cannot recover lost private keys or funds sent to the wrong address. Carefully review the rules and risks of every market before trading.
4. Prohibited Behavior
- Creating manipulative or misleading markets
- Participating in the same dispute with multiple accounts
- Trading manipulatively on insider information
- Attacking, exploiting or attempting fraud against the platform
- Creating markets involving sexual content or sexual conduct of any kind
- Creating markets involving the abuse, exploitation or endangerment of minors
- Creating markets that wager on, encourage or relate to the death, serious physical harm, or threats to the life or safety of any identifiable person
Markets that fall into any of the above categories will be removed and the responsible accounts may be suspended or permanently banned. Where required by law, such activity will be reported to the relevant authorities.
5. Resolution and Dispute Process
Markets are resolved first by a creator-proposed outcome, then through user disputes, and finally by Oracle / Admin approval. Invalid disputes lose the staked fee; valid disputes get refunded.
6. Fees
A protocol fee is taken from every trade and a fixed USDC stake is required for disputes. Fee rates are always visible on the platform and may change.
7. Disclaimer
TAYDEX is not a financial intermediary and offers no guarantees about market outcomes. The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses caused by software bugs, network outages or on-chain events.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
